TAIPEI: As HTC already launched its flagship smartphone HTC One M9, now company is expected to unveil another top-notch smartphone HTC Butterfly 3 which just surfaced in a benchmark.
HTC is expected to launch HTC One M9+ latter this year and now HTC butterfly has emerges with some top-notch specs.
Following the HTC J Butterfly, Butterfly S, and Butterfly 2, this purported smartphone would arrive as the fourth in the series and is expected to launch as the HTC Butterfly 3
The smartphone will apparently combine the best features from the HTC One M9 and One M9+, resulting in a real powerhouse.
As GforGames recons, the upcoming HTC Butterfly 3 will boast a QHD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) just like the HTC One M9 Plus, and pack a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, like the flagship One M9.
The benchmark listing further reveals that the purported HTC Butterfly 3 will feature a 5.1-inch screen, which puts it between the One M9 and One M9+ in terms of display size.
Other specs include 3GB of RAM, a 19-megapixel rear camera, and a 12-megapixel front shooter. The rear camera could turn out to be the 20.7-megapixel shooter of the One M9 and One M9+ in the end, but it remains to be seen.
The HTC Butterfly 3 is expected to launch in Japan and a few other markets in Asia, but it remains unclear whether it will see a wider global release.
The handset should launch later this year, albeit no information is available at this point regarding when exactly it will make its official debut.
